Martha's Meadow

Orginally installed by Piedmont Discovery Center in 2021, we are here now for care and edits.

The English Ivy is creeping in, beneath the grove of Sassafras that has made itself known since installation. A chance to carve pathways with low ceilings for the grandkids. A path to Totoro and friends. A truce between lifeforms.

The seeds are thick this fall. A source for resurgance.

Editing for plant-community integrity, but also for human access (humans being inseprable actors to these acts of restoration).
